Sammy Serious spawned
from his hometown of beautiful Elizabeth N.J.
where his sister bought him his first guitar, a
twenty-nine dollar job from Sam Goody.
Sammy loved his first guitar but did not play a
note; actually the guitar laid under his bed for
about 3 years until he discovered a Beatles song
book that his brother was learning piano on.
Sammy started to flip through the book and
noticed that there were blocks on top of the
words. These blocks turned out to be charts for
guitar - Sammy then said "These dots must be
where you put your fingers and these lines must
be where the strings are". Can you believe
that? - Sammy was right and the rest is history.
Sammy decided to put together THE ZEROS in 1987,
his project for the last 10 years, in which he
participated as the lead vocalist and main
songwriter.
THE ZEROS made 3 CDs
together and appeared and played live on
different movie soundtracks and TV shows. Sammy
also wrote theme songs for various DJ's such as
Howard Stern, Ricki Rachtman and even a song for
Love Line.
Sammy Serious is now
the songwriter, guitarist and lead singer of his
own band titled SAMMY SERIOUS which he decided to
start in 1997.
Sammy Serious is currently looking for management
and a major record deal that understands the
simplicity, creativity, and versatility of a
prolific singer/songwriter/recording artist.
